TOMS Shoes: media kit extraordinaire

TOMS Shoes’ public relation specialist Mary Walsh does an excellent job putting together a media kit for her company. Her kit includes a backgrounder, biographical sketches, a fact sheet, a media release and even some television and radio scripts.

Walsh engages her audience by showcasing the company’s social responsibility through the biographical sketches. She gives the press a good understanding about TOMS Shoes’ event “a day without shoes” through her media release. It is well written, short and provides the most important information first.
